Project Consultant
Ines Tchakounte has over 6 years of experience in civil society in refugee relief actions and youth engagement in civic education and democratic processes. Currently, Ines is the Executive Director at the Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa (YALDA Cameroon) and Regional Associate Francophone Africa for YALDA International, focusing on leveraging potential of youth in civic development and humanitarian work and building resilience among youth leaders. As well she works as Project Director at a local organization (MDDT Cameroon) focusing on youth engagement in democratic and peace processes, reducing youth radicalization and violence. Ines holds a bachelor’s degree in Gender, Migration and Refugee Studies.
