Clifford Niba Akonteh is a Cameroonian lawyer with over 15 years experience in civil society and educational administration, and a managing partner at Poubom and Partners Law Firm. He served as Administrative Controller of St. Theresa International Comprehensive Establishment, which includes a daycare, pre-nursery, primary, secondary, and high school. He is the former president of the Mandela Washington Fellows Cameroon Alumni Association and the former chair of the 2018 Mandela Washington Regional Advisory Board. Akonteh is a past Executive Director for Central Africa and Francophone nations for Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa (YALDA), a young leadership and professional network spanning 26 African nations and 40 universities. He is currently the executive director of a human rights, peace, and democracy organization, The Movement for Democracy, Development and Transparency (MDDT) Cameroon.
